Apple CEO Tim Cook said China remains the main base of the company's global supply chain, with 80 of its top 100 suppliers located in the country, according to CCTV Finance.
Cook made the remarks during a meeting with China's Minister of Commerce Wang Wentao, ahead of the opening of the China Development Forum 2026 in Beijing, which began on March 22.
He said Apple continued to attach great importance to the China market and its supply chain, and was studying China's high-quality development plans closely to align its investment and business strategy accordingly.
