The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) gave a sneak peek of the China Pavilion at the 2025 Osaka World Expo, opening in just over a month.
The pavilion’s logo features the Chinese characters for "China" in a classic seal-script style, set in a striking red color that symbolizes energy, celebration, and warmth. It blends traditional design with a modern touch, ensuring it stands out among the many other pavilions.
The star of the show is the pavilion’s mascot, "Youyou," a lovable giant panda. The name is simple and easy to say in any language, with meanings tied to time, bamboo, and warmth—reflecting the panda’s role as a symbol of China’s friendship with the world.
Focusing on "Building a Community of Life Between Humans and Nature," the pavilion will highlight sustainable development and green living. The Expo runs from April 13 to October 13, 2025.
