Domestic refined oil prices show three consecutive declines

China’s domestic gasoline price has been cut by 300 yuan/ton (US$45) and diesel by 290 yuan/ton, the fourth adjustment this year. This is the first “three consecutive declines.”

After the adjustment, the price of diesel and No. 92 gasoline in most parts of the country will be around 8.3-8.5 yuan/liter, while No. 95 gasoline is around 8 yuan/liter.

Drivers of an ordinary private car with a fuel tank of 50L can expect to save about 12 yuan on a full tank. For large-scale logistics and transportation, the cost is reduced by about 10 yuan per 100 kilometers.

The next window for price adjustments will open on August 9.
