Shanghai Disney Resort reopened Thursday. It resumed ticket sales a day before and capacity levels will be controlled.

All guests are required to show a negative nucleic acid test result taken within 72 hours, it said.

After the announcement was released on Tuesday, the search volume of “Shanghai Disney” on the Qunar.com platform increased by 380 percent, ranking first among domestic theme parks, the instant visits on the Trip.com platform soared by 655 percent month-on-month, and the search volume on the Fliggy platform increased by 300 percent compared with one day earlier.

On Qunar.com, the instantaneous search volume of hotels around Shanghai Disneyland increased by 260 percent while hotel bookings at Shanghai Disneyland jumped 360 percent from the week before the park closed in March.
