Tencent's Honor of Kings remained the world's highest-grossing mobile game in May, according to data released by mobile app analytics firm Sensor Tower.

Chinese-developed titles also featured prominently across the rankings, with several games appearing among both the world's top earners and fastest-growing titles by revenue during the month.

Sensor Tower's rankings are based on estimated player spending across Apple's App Store and Google Play.
