TikTok said on April 8 it will invest 1 billion euros to build a data center in Lahti, Finland, its second project of that scale in the country.

The investment is part of its 12 billion-euro Project Clover, which aims to strengthen the storage and protection of data for more than 200 million European users.

TikTok said it is also progressing, as planned, its previously announced data center project in Kouvola, Finland.
