Shanghai's gross domestic product grew 5.4% year on year in 2025, official data showed on Wednesday.

GDP reached 5.67 trillion yuan in real terms. By sector, the primary, secondary and tertiary sectors grew 2.0%, 3.5% and 6.0%, respectively, according to the city's statistics bureau.
