China logs 904 million ride-hailing orders in November

China's ride-hailing regulatory system received 904 million orders in November, according to data from the Ministry of Transport. By month-end, 394 platforms held operating permits nationwide, one more than in October.

Regulators said compliance levels across leading platforms were mixed, with some operators recording modest month-on-month gains and others showing slight declines. Ride-hailing aggregators handled 277 million orders, edging down 0.1% from the previous month.

Among major cities, Xiamen, Shenzhen and Chengdu continued to report the strongest compliance, while 28 cities posted rates above 80%. Xi'an, Kunming and Wuhan saw the biggest monthly improvements, whereas Zhengzhou, Harbin and Hohhot recorded the steepest drops.
