China's express delivery sector logged a new milestone this year, with parcel volume surpassing 180 billion for the first time, according to data released by the State Post Bureau.

As of November 30, total shipments exceeded the 175.08 billion parcels handled in all of 2024. Monthly volumes now average more than 16 billion, while the busiest day saw 777 million parcels processed, at well over 6,200 every second.
