Trip.com performs adequately as tourism recovers

Online travel agency Trip.com saw revenue in Q3 of 13.7 billion yuan (US$1.9 billion), double last year’s amount. Net profit in Q3 rose sharply from 2.4 billion yuan last year to 4.6 billion yuan.

In Q3, with the arrival of peak season, booking volumes rose substantially, providing booking revenue of 5.6 billion yuan and ticket revenue of 5.4 billion yuan.

In Q3, inbound bookings on Trip.com’s international platform grew as international flights resumed, Trip.com hopes for an increase of over 150 percent in the number of inbound tourists served in 2024 compared to 2019.
