JD.com's CEO XU Ran will concurrently serve as the CEO of JD Retail Group, the e-commerce giant announced on late Wednesday. The former CEO of JD Retail Group, XIN Lijun, has been appointed to another position.

Joining JD.com in 2012, Xin was appointed as the CEO of JD Retail in 2021. Xu joined JD.com in 2018 and became the CFO two years later.
