Didi Chuxing's revenue continues to expand

Ride-hailing giant Didi Chuxing's Q3 report showed revenue of 51.4 billion yuan, up 25 percent year-on-year. Domestic business saw revenue of 46.6 billion yuan, up 27 percent. International business realized revenue of 2 billion yuan, up 28 percent.

Didi has enjoyed year-on-year revenue growth for three consecutive quarters. In the first and second quarters, Didi's revenue realized year-on-year growth of 19.1 percent and 52.6 percent, respectively.

As of September 30, 2023, Didi's balance of cash and cash equivalents amounted to 546 billion yuan, a slight increase from 488 billion yuan on December 31, 2022. Additionally, the company disclosed plans for a share buyback program not exceeding US$1 billion over the next 24 months.
